I was invited by Kate to join her and her family for a long weekend getaway to Northern Samar!!! Woohoo!!! May 1 was spent on the road as we drive through Laguna, Batangas, Quezon and Bicol region. This is the longest road trip I've ever been to and I really love the view of South Luzon countryside. Amidst the dawning of a new day are mountain views, rivers, rice fields and the faces of simple rural life. We were all awake when we finally reach Camarines Sur and sure we beg to drop-by the well-known to CWC complex in Pili, CamSur. We did stop by and took pictures of the water sports complex I've been dreaming to go to and try my "athletic" persona. But no try-outs just yet on that day despite our silent clamors, the "elders" have different plans at that time and that is-to finish the road trip as early as possible. With greater things waiting for us in Samar, we happily obliged and get back to our seats for another seven hours of travel to our beach destination!
