 I always appreciate good morning des!  greetings through text, I mean it's a good thing that people remember you at the start of their day right? But today, how else can I have a great morning than to read a newspaper report like this. 
That is what I mean when I said "We can't help people not to talk about us at our back, so at least give them something good to talk about." 
Jesus Christ is in the tinseltown. 
I don't know about you, but I believe the changed lives of Rica, Piolo, Sam, Kitchie, Donita and Ms. Coney. But I am not putting them in the pedestal and I am not saying they will not ever fall short of our expectations, the thing is, these poeple admitted that they are sinners but were redeemed, not by their fame but by the death of Jesus Christ. They sacrificed their fame, comfort zone and accepted ridicules from others for the sacrifce of Christ. Okay, they may be famous and all, but isn't it the point? Going against the trend of the worldly world? Plus the very fact that they are famous, isn't it that much are at stake to them. And yet thay made a brave choice to follow Christ.
At the start of this week I prayed to God to give me at least one reason why I should desire the passion for Christ more than ever. Prayer number # 2 is to get me through a certain test so I will have a new testimony of His Good work in my life.
It's only Wednesday and my prayer # 1 got answered through that article, a friend called last night and said the message I gave last Sunday in our small group meeting proved to be true. My dear sister humbly accepted that she did me wrong without me telling her how to act on it. Those things are awesome encounters that couldn't have happen without God's intervention, I swear. Answer to prayer # 2 is yet to come. But I am calling and relying on the unseen to be here at any moment, for faith is a spiritual force nonetheless.
Here's the promise I received last Sunday which I am counting God on:
Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this," says the LORD Almighty, "and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that you will not have room enough for it.
I have no choice but to set my attention on things above...and sooner OR later....Victory reports are coming up!
